The FSA approved OK Coin Japan as a virtual currency exchange company on March 30. The company is a Japanese subsidiary of the OK Group, which operates OKEx, a global virtual currency exchange. OKCoinJapan, a virtual currency exchange that will be offered to the domestic market, plans to handle Bitcoin [BTC], Bitcoin Cash [BCH], Ethereum [ETH], Ethereum Calssic [ETC], and Litecoin [LTC].

OK Coin Japan will start accepting pre-registrations for opening an account at the virtual currency exchange "OKCoinJapan" on the same day. At the time of announcement, the registration method has not been announced, but it seems that you can apply in advance on the official website. The specific services and schedule of the exchange will be announced at a later date.

OK Coin Japan joined the Japan Virtual Currency Exchange Association [JVCEA], a self-regulatory organization of virtual currency exchange companies, as a second-class member in February 2019. The company was licensed by the Financial Services Agency after Decolet and FXcoin, who joined at the same time.
