Cold wave continues in Bihar's capital Patna. Due to the cold westerly winds, the temperature started dropping from Monday which continues till Tuesday. In view of the cold on Tuesday morning, the DM of Patna has ordered the school up to class five to be closed till January 16.

Patna District Collector Kumar Ravi has said in his order that all private and government schools will remain closed till December 16. Simultaneously, the DM has asked the District Education Officer to comply with this order. Schools have been closed since 27 December due to the onset of cold wave. It will be decided to open schools up to class five if the temperature increases.

Let us tell you that earlier, Patna District Collector Kumar Ravi had ordered the closure of class till 5th on 12th January. <! –

There was a cold day in more than a dozen districts of Bihar including the capital Patna. Due to the westerly winds and no sunshine throughout the day, people kept shivering. Visibility was 150 meters till 8 o'clock due to dense fog in the morning. Due to this, there was a lot of trouble in the movement of people.
