The positive developments follow Sun’s recent announcement that mainnet accounts on the network had surpassed 600,000 in just 143 days. He also said that the network had surpassed Ethereum [ETH] in terms of dApp volume. According to DApp Review, IDEX – the most successful dApp on the Ethereum network – has a transaction volume of 2,430 ETH transactions in 24 hours. On the other hand, Tronbet has more than 422 million TRX transactions.
TRON set to give a tough fight to Ethereum
“TRON is set to surpass Ethereum on the road to becoming the world’s largest decentralized protocol. We will be delivering on these key milestones in the last quarter of this year and the first quarter of 2019,” Sun said in an interview with Investopedia.
There’s no denying that TRON [TRX] is hitting the headlines for all right reasons for the past few days. This time, the TRON network has managed to break four records in just one day.
TRX community member Misha Lederman shared that the record 14,846 new accounts have been added to the network, 1,718 nodes have been reached and daily transactions have hit 1.6 million txs.
In the first week of November, Tron Foundation published its weekly report that states that within 131 days, the daily number of transaction for the Justin Sun-led blockchain protocol was more than 1 million.
